Cut-to-length lines
|
High performance and flexibility are the hallmark of STAM cut-to -length lines. Different lines are suitable for processing material up to 2,200 mm wide, thicknesses between 0.2 and 16 mm. and line speeds up to 120 m/min. The levellers can be of 6, 5 or 4 high configuration depending on the material to be processed and are fitted with computer controlled back-up roller and tilting adjustments. STAM build levellers for hot and cold rolled steel which may be galvanised or otherwise coated (including multi-layer coating) and for stainless steel, high tensile steel, aluminium, copper and other alloys. Decoilers for coil weights up to 45 tons have been supplied. Stacking machines for the cut sheets can be of the single or multi-station type using an air cushion, vacuum, mechanical or magnetic system. Computer systems set the work programme and provide process monitoring.
