Lines for silos panels

We build rollforming, punching and calendering lines for metal silos panels

The cylindrical structure of the silos consists of galvanised corrugated steel metal.

The structure is supported by external uprights and both the panels and the uprights can be made with STAM’s flexible rollformers.

Our rollforming line for silos panels is capable of forming and accurately roll-bending the profile through calendering machines.

The thickness of the material can usually vary from 1 to 4 mm, but it is possible to extend this range.

The curving radius can be changed manually by using a manual wheel adjustment (or a position viewer) or automatically by using an NC based system.

The line includes a press for making:

• the holes for mounting the clamping bolts
• the openings required to inspect the empty silos and for the connection with the other silos accessories

We can also produce rollforming lines for other items of the silos, such as the roof or the ventilated bottom.
